Full Service
Developing good focus, working memory, self control, time management, planning, organization and self-awareness are the key ingredients for anyone’s success. Although some kids are born with these innate gifts, most do not. As teachers, we noticed the challenges of children with language-based learning disabilities, nonverbal learning disabilities, and autism spectrum disorders and we’ve created a full service app to help these kids thrive. The sweet spot of parenting isn’t a myth!
There are many great apps for time management, planning and organization, but none of them are graphic organizers with embedded prompts where kids learn responsibility and gain important life skills that will serve them well throughout their lives. We think we have come up with the S.M.A.R.T.E.R. (specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, timely, evaluated, & re-adjusted) app for kids.ย
Earnie Jr. is a virtual chore chart that lets kids see and keep track of daily chores, and successfully complete them. Parents then approve the chores, and kids earn points toward awesome, predetermined rewards. Parents add icons of the chores to help non-readers and written, detailed instructions that kids and teens can easily follow. Kids can ask for help or just tap the checkmark when they’ve completed the task. Parents can set chores to be automatically approved and receive push notifications when chores are completed. Help your child live their best autonomous life, even with learning, social, emotional, and behavioral challenges…without nagging!
